Hope into Action opens 30th house for homeless
We are delighted to announce that this week we opened our 30th home. It has been opened in Nottingham and the first of two tenants moved in this morning. “The journey from opening our first home in 2010 to our 30th across seven cities has been exciting and challenging. In the last 12 months alone we have housed over 100 vulnerable people.” explained Ed Walker, Executive Director of Hope into Action.
Emma from the Nottingham office who met the tenant at his new home commented “the tenant was very excited & said that the place felt really homely already. Two of the church befrienders brought lunch over & they all had a good time getting to know each other.”
Please be praying for him as he settles in and adjusts to life outside of prison again. He has a work placement lined up and is hoping that might lead to employment.
